If the cdrom has any age on it get a new one. They are very inexpensive
today.

I have a pc. It was working fine but one day it stopped reading or
playing any kind of cd. Everything else works fine. I place the cd in
the cd-rom and it doesnt read it and after a few seconds the cd rom
drive opens by itself. What can I do? Thanks!
