Re: Are OEM install of XP Pro any good?

Bruce,

<Snip>
The used there OEM version.

This sentence makes no sense. The words are all English, but they're not assembled in any meaningful sequence.

I thought I would get a regular off the shelf package of XP.

It doesn't seem the same as by two others computers.

Same for this one.

What, precisely, are you trying to say or ask?
<Snip>

If I could put into words I would do a much better. To say something like my profile no longer has Administer. I have a new work,
it no longer works. Says I don't have authorization.

I asked to be present when the installed the OS, and then didn't do that. When I tried to reinstall the OS, I did not recognize
what the other boxes had.
