Yes, providing that you can produce proof of ownership of a previous qualifying Windows version. During the installation you will be informed that no upgradeable Windows versions were found on the hard disk an you will be asked to insert a qualifying Windows cd in the drive. Once the XP setup program is satisfied that you own a previous qualifying version of Windows it will cleanly install.
