This problem started about 2 or 3 days ago. When I start my computer, or if I
open or close a software, close anything, I get this chime. It is like the
chime that chimes when you start you computer up. Put it will play over and
over, skip a bit, and plays the chime again, and again. I have to turn my
sound all the way down in order for me not to go crazy. I have done help on
Window XP - but could not find how to correct the problem. I have done
nothing different to my system, downloads - nothing. It was working just
fine, opened it up one morning and it has not stopped chiming since. Please
help before the computer goes out the window.

Thanks
