Hidden partition cannot be accessed under Windows until you have set a
special parameter unde BIOS.
Except this, is there a direct link to a 802.11b/g configuration
software for Wireless Configuration (NOT drivers) for Broadcom? (Acer
Aspire 3004WLCI)
Thank you.

Hello, I have XP Home SP2 with my Acer Aspire notebook and it has
Broadcom Wireless 802.11b/g wi-fi adapter.
I use XP's built-in Wireless Zero Configuration service to connect
wireless to my ADSL router (US Robotics 9108)
I have some problems, but not always, i rarely have problems with
Wireless service of XP. Here they are:
1-During XP start-up computer hangs at ''acquiring network address''
page, and i had to reset computer to connect healthy. DHCP is working
OK and no problems in router's configuration. This happens
'sometimes'. WHY?
2-My second and important question: Although connected successfully
via wireless, after for couple of hours, wireless zero configuration
or wireless service of XP FREEZES, LOCKS until i reboot. No response.
Also no ping to my router until i reboot. This could happen when my
wireless is idle for couple of hours. WHY?
Wireless Zero Configuration or XP's built-in wireless service is not
stable definelty. What should i do? Which 3rd party wi-fi utility
should i install?
Thanks in advance.
Regards. It seems to me that the answer to questions 1 and 2 is thatbit flakey. Mine sometimes can't connect across the room; but right now
wireless is a
it
has no problem going 25 feet. It sometimes quits when it is raining (not
inside though). So, it is unreliable.
I would try the manufacturer's software before all others.
