2 Problems:
I recently re-installed Windows XP Pro on my Sony Vaio Desktop. Knowing that
I would wipe out the "C" and "D" drive, I have an an additional backup drive
I put in the system designated as my "E" drive, Also my "C" drive was
formatted as" C" and "D" drive. So naturally I backed up all my data and
programs etc on my "E" drive and when I did the re-install I was warned I'd
lose the data on my "MAIN " drive which I anticipated. Turned out that it
wipe my "E" drive clean to the bone too!
Question 1: I wondered if there is anyway to get that drive back with the
data, and if so how?.

2: I am using the system discs I made from my Sony Vaio a while back I
recall doing an install of Windows XP that gave me the option of just
restoring Windows and not losing any data or formatting anything. It was
simple and it worked fine every time. For the life of me I can no longer
find that option, I'm wondering if it is because I'm using the self made
system discs or is there another way to
locate that option? Whoever is willing to help me with these problems I owe
a debt of gratitude to for your time and generosity I thank you in advance.
