When 'booting up' the blue screen with 'windows' appears then the screen
changes to a blue screen. Most of the time booting up just stalls and it may
take a minute or two before the desktop icons finally appear. Does anyone
have a fix for this? I have done defragmentation, disc cleanup, delete temp
files and cookies but that did not help any.
Have you also scanned for malware or viruses? Also have a look in start >
run > msconfig > startup and see what programs are loading at bootup.
