User settings not saving during shutdown
Running SP2/AMD64 - PC is failing to save the user settings during the
shutdown process ON ALTERNATE shutdowns...Win boots up ok but problem
occurs logging into accounts on alternate start ups and when logging
off user settings only save on alternate shut downs, ie either
properly, or by screen going blank during the logoff/shutdown process,
system then doesn't power down. cant see any hardware conflicts but
HDD is hammering away for ages during account log in process. Any wiz
ideas please before I reinstall XP ??
