I am getting the error:
Program:c:\windows\system.32\InetCntrl\Maint\Setup.exe requested the runtime

my windows wont shut down properly. I get an hpcmpmgr.exe error message that
says it wont respond even when I ask to terminate now. Also, I sometime get
a windows parking message, that I have to terminate now because of not
responding. Any ideas?????
Hi Tea,
1- You infected badly with Malwares/graywares and may be viruses try to
disable the Runing processes by pressin ALT + CTRL + DEL to bring up the task
Manager then disable the setup.exe, adawareAlert.exe and to start your
computer in clean boot uncheck adawarealert line from startup.
To do that open a run command and type in: msconfig click [OK] and on the
system confguration click on Start Up tab and uncheck the bad entries or the
unnecessry applications/programs from start up.
"On how to perform clean boot read this"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353
Try to run a scan for both from here:
- for Virus scanner
http://www.pandasecurity.com
http://www.avast.com
http://www.trendmicro.com
And also for malwares from here:
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
http://www.safer-networking.org ; for Spybot S&D
Then try to Disable the Add-Ons on your Browser somehow your browser been
hooked by Add-ons or Plug-ins which act as an ear/spy for that site to direct
you to where they want you to go.
On how to disable the Add-ons follow this:
Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
click on Programs Tab and then click the Manage Add-Ons Button there Disable
the None/Not Verified Plug-ins/Add-ons and click [OK] to confirm your Changes.
Reboot your machine.
Also read this and you can perform the steps yourself to get rid of this:

2= If all fail download the Hijackthis and send the report to one of many
forums for analysis and troubleshooting:
When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. Post
your log to http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30,
http://castlecops.com/forum67.html,
http://forums.subratam.org/index.php?showforum=7, or other appropriate
forums for expert analysis, not here.
Please perform one step (1,2) at a time and see if that will help your
issue.
P.S if you have a third party Toolbar Please uninstall from the Add/Remove
in the Control Panel.
HTH.
Please let us know.
