Extra folder in Docs&Settings

<y previous installation of windowsxp had me logged in as David. Due to a virus I had to do a complete re-install including a reformat.
The new install is set to log in as Dave.

However I notice that in the Documents & Settings folder there are now two folders one David (from previous install?!)and the other Dave (New install). I keep deleting the 'David' one but it reappears after a reboot.
How do I get it to stop creating this folder please?

Thanks

Dave
