Re: Problem with getting started.. desperately need help

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi,

If the password is however set up then it is possible to reset it. I
suppose Active@ Password Changer can perform this operation

Ok, I have a lap top upstairs using a wireless internet connection
from this
computer. Anyway, the laptop won't let me sign on to my computer. The
username field and password field is there, but the computer won't let
me
type anything in. It says that only I or a computer administrator can
access
windows xp. My question is, how do I get rid of that and how do I
resume use
of that computer?

One of my settings is that whenever the screensaver for that computer
comes
on, you need a password in order to use the computer after the
screensaver
has come on. This was never a problem until one time I got on the
computer
and this freezing effect happened. Whenever I press a button or
anything I
get that "ding" sound. It's very annoying. I did however left click
outside
of the box with the username fields, and all that did for me was get
rid of
that box and i was left iwth a generic Windows XP background with no
options
for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
