Re: Limited User Account (WinXP PRO SP2)

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Well, I intent to use Limited User Account exclusively for all my internet
surfing, e-mailing, communicating with n/groups (OE6), on-demand AV/A-S
scanning etc., basically everything what I am doing in the Administrator
User Account right now though I am aware of the limitations as illustrated
in "User Accounts".
Therefore, I wish to transfer programs such as Ad-Aware, SuperAntiSpyware,
Spywareblaster, Spybot S&D and some of my documents/files.

Update your Anti-Virus within from Administrator account and it will apply
to
all yours.

What you want to copy from your Administrator account to limited account and
what Anti-Virus software you are currently using? Is it the Virus defination
file or other documents. For virus defination, I already told you that
updating the anti-virus will apply to all users. For other files, open
"Document and Settings Folder" and copy the desire files into Limited
Account
folder.

Hope this help, let us know!

Hi,

I just set up a Limited user Account and noticed that my Anti-Virus
program
fails to update.
Is it possible to transfer files/documents and programs from my
Administrator user account to my Limited user account and if so how do I
do
that?

TIA................Kayman.
