Okay, you still didn't say what the wireless for,Optical Mouse, Wireless
Adapter for printer, Wireless Headphone, wireless Adapter Internet
connections..etc.
Assuming you have two CDs, One have Extra Softwares and Drivers on it and
the Other is the XP CD software for your Operating system.
Try the Recovery CD, what to do is Put the CD/DVD after you power on your
Laptop and logged on and Insert the Recovery CD In and Browse instead of
installing or if it given you the option to install softwares/Drivers try to
open the selections and see if the Mystery Bluetooth is there and install it
then Reboot and try whatever Devices you are using to connect to to the
Bluetooth.
If you cann't do that, just see a decent Local professional tech been
trustwothy and don't mention the story but say you done the installation
(with a new CD copy) but you can't get your Bluetooth back can they help?.
Again if you have an Utility manager provided by HP you can use this to
Update Hardware drivers on your Laptop, read the Documentation which came
with the laptop to know what on it and how to update Device drivers from HP
Website.
Did you have a look on the link I provided earlier.
HTH.

Hi, basically i am a bit of a comp mong, so i will start from the begining as
i dont know what you need to know to help. Sorry if i go on a bit. I bought
this laptop brand new and then went away. Stupidly i let a friends kids
watch dvd's on it and came back to a blank screen (obv they not touched a
thing NOT!). I took it to a local guy as i didn't have any discs with me and
he said he would have to phone the company HP with the system details and buy
all of the drivers back from them. I bought a brand new windows disc from
him and he installed that for me and all of the drivers that he had
downloaded. It didn't have the bluetooth that came built into the laptop and
he said it didn't have it. I know it did because i used to use it all of the
time, that was one of the reasons i bought this laptop. Now i am back home
and i have my discs so i would like to restore it to its original state but
don't know how to. As said comp mong. Any help welcome. Thanx --

If you were sold a genuine win cd, and the laptop is working, why are you

I bought my laptop earlier this year. Two weeks later i had to move toi
Cyprus for 8 months. During this time my comp crashed. I didnt have the
drivers with me. I took it to a local comp shop (Cypriot) and he sold me
another windows disc and downloaded some drivers for me. I have just
returned and i am trying to reinstall my original disc and setting, which
have done but the comp wont start once installed. I have to keep goingback
to the most recent settings that worked. Can anyone advice me on what todo?

Hi Emma,
I never like to speak behind somebody's back with ill words but this Guy
didn't do a decent job and Charging you fo a download you could done it your
self from the HP manaufacturer without paying a penny!.
Then you didn't mentioned what the bluetooth for and is it came with laptop
intergrated on the system or peripherals to be connected in a USB Port.
Try Right click MY Computer on your disktop and select properties.
On the system window click on Hardware Tab and see if the Bluetooth option
is there, I guess if he done a clean install will not be there if it is n't
integrated on the system, but try to look for it on the Hardware window.
If it there try to go to HP and download the Driver for it from there try
this First:
http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_lang=en&h_cc=us&cc=us&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_pagetype=s-002&h_query=bluetooth
If it is not there and you said you got back home and you have your CD try
clean Install from here:
http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html
P.S what type of CD you have from HP?.
HTH.
