If you were sold a genuine win cd, and the laptop is working, why are you
trying to restore it?

I bought my laptop earlier this year. Two weeks later i had to move to
Cyprus for 8 months. During this time my comp crashed. I didnt have the
drivers with me. I took it to a local comp shop (Cypriot) and he sold me
another windows disc and downloaded some drivers for me. I have just
returned and i am trying to reinstall my original disc and setting, which
i
have done but the comp wont start once installed. I have to keep going
back
to the most recent settings that worked. Can anyone advice me on what to
do?
