I would check out for viruses, spyware, Trojan horses and other related
stuff. And try to delete everything in Temp folder. If you cant while logged
as Rick then log off and log in as Administrator.

I have just reinstalled WinXP cuz I put a new Hard Drive on my system (The
onther one died on me) and I've been having lots of problems. They are
getting fixed slowly but surely.. Though this one has me stumped. This is
the
error message(s) that I have been getting.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and
needs
to close.
EventType: BEX P1: svchost.exe
I:\DOCUME~1\Rick\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2fd5.dir00\svchost.exe.mdmp
I:\DOCUME~1\Rick\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2fd5.dir00\appcompat.txt
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Biggest problem is that the sound just dies on me when the error comes up.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
