Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I'm not running SetPoint. The "For more information etc." link I get
when double clicking the error message does talk about the C++
Redistributable pack, but I have no idea what it does nor what I am
supposed to with it if I get it. Can you enlighten me any about it?
Thanks for the response.

I'm afraid my memory here is pretty sketchy, but I seem to recall suffering
the same problem when I was running an older version of Logitech SetPoint
(horrible, horrible software).

If you're running SetPoint, update it. If you're not, I remember stumbling
across other posts reporting the same problem and it related to a Visual C++
Redistribution package. Check out the MS download pages for a Visual C++
Redistributable pack.

I have been getting the below two errors showing up in my event
viewer. They don't seem to causing any problems. I have Googled them
but have not found any explanation of how to fix them (that I
understand anyway). The MFC80U.DLL file IS in the WinSxS36 folder, but
I can't find VC80.MFCLOC anywhere on my machine. The first error shows
up twice and the last one shows up four times when they occur, but I
haven't been able to determine any pattern for when that is. The last
error sows up with a Event ID of 59 also.

Question is, what should I do about them if anything?
