Hi All,
I have bought a second-hand HP laptop with a pre-installed Windows XP Home
Edition. There is no back-up CD with it.
A few days ago, when I started the computer, a prompt "NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart". I tried restarting - for nothing.
I seek help from MS website. They refferred me to the OEM. I have not yet
contacted HP. I'm just trying here hoping there would be good souls here
that could help me.
Is there any program i need to download? I have no floppy drive, only
CD-ROM
and flashdrive. I hope I can recover my files on the hard drive. Does
reinstalling new OS will correct the problem?
Thanks very much. I just wanted to fix the problem asap.
Regards,
