Driver for this is included with XP. Since you don't have the disk, check
your machine for an I386 folder - this includes the installation files that
should include the drivers. If you don't have that, can you borrow a disk?
(For that matter, do you have a COA showing that your copy of XP is legit?)

FWIW, you'll get better throughput to the printer by using a USB to Parallel
converter cable rather than just hooking it up to the parallel port. XP, by
design, poorly supports parallel port operation.

Hi Steve, How do you connect both of them?.
Here is a link if want to connect them with a cross-over cable and the
two
computers should have a NICs installed to access each other:

Ooops! Sorry Litespeed Mistakos <grin>. Thanks Val, for picking up this and
clear it to Litespeed.
Yeep, Check for the latest driver from HP website for the * DeskJet * your
CD may defective or damaged.
Also be sure you connecting the printer cable the Right way ( i.e the male
side to the computer and female side to the printer that for the Parallel
cable)
The USB is straight forward procedure.
