KILL ME! I downloaded it and now when i try to open it it states its a file
extension!?I have no clue now WAHHHH!

Anyways, compaqs all use the same sound card.. realtek AC'97... I
made
sure
yours does too(unless you ordered something other than factory
settings)

its a compaq)

Also, would you rather wait for the mail after someone downloaded and
burned
it to a disk(which I think might be about the same time as the
download
finishes)?

If you know anyone nearby, steal their cable/dsl connection to
download
it
and burn it to a disc :P
