"Administrator" user (named so, and no every administrator) becomes hidden when you create a new administrator account. You can do the following: restart in safe mode (when BIOS screen turns black hit F8 several times and choose that option) and there you will be able to see your "Administrator" account. Then create a new administrator user (named whatever you want) and copy Administrator account's profile into that new account. To copy the profile, please, follow these steps:

(don't worry if your profile is not corrupted)

All my personal settings are on Admin and I can't find a way to get back on.
after
adding my wife as a user on this lap top.
Is there a short cut to sign on as Administrator?
