How can I reinstall .net framework. Have a computer that will not connect

says it needs to be reinstalled. I'll have to download it onto a removable
hard drive and install it on the corrupt computer. Is this possible?
google for: .NET redistributable package
get the correct version, 1.1, 2.0, or 3.0 (new) -- they are not
interchangable, nor backward compatable (mostly). I'm guessing you want
1.1 Afterwards, vist Windows Update to check if you need to reapply any
hotfixes, or use Belarc Advisor to check that, and apply the hotfix(s).
BTW, the package is most likely somewhere on the Norton CD if you care to
dig around. You could just reinstall Norton entirely instead, tho it may
skip the .Net install if it thinks it's already installed.
If you're on dial-up these are big packages, I'd check the cd first.
