I downloaded ie7 from ubuntu and copied it over to my windows drive.
Installed fine, still can't access microsoft.com, ran diag, got results
below. It said i might have a firewall issue but i am only running the
windows one. It is set to show any conflicts anyway.
I find it interesting that i can access hotmail. I don't know how to
interpret "FTP (Passive): Error 12111 connecting to ftp.microsoft.com:
The FTP session was terminated

I can ftp to other sites but not microsoft. I run spybot regularly; just
in case, ran it again, no threats.
