Nass,
Sorry, I should have said I'm running WinXP SP2 with all the updates for the
system completed. System Restore CD only has one option on it from Toshiba
and that is to reformat the HDD only not a way to to do reinstall of windows
only. Their has to be a different way to fix it other than a format and
reload. The first link I checked my registry and for the crss file it
matches exactaly what is in the KB description. Second link not sure why I
need to relink the Add/remove tool but did it anyways. The link for the
download is invalid even when I correct the spelling of download in the link.
If I was able to find my other systems Win XP would a reinstall of of
Windows on top of the current system work? Also this issue started before we
moved homes but why does that matter? Are you thinking the system memory has
been damaged or corrupted?

Whenever I click on the Start button or click the start key on the keyboard

event logger gives me the two following errors whenever I press the button.
I've been trying to figure out how to fix this issue and I can not find
anything related to explorer.exe and user32.dll problems. I just recently
moved and have not located the windows install disks so reinstalling windows
would be my last choice to fix the issue.
