Hi Joe,
I tried running the audio tuning wizard, but I've still got the same
problem. The headset volume is fine, but I virtually have to swallow the
mike to get the record volume level to go any higher than about one third of
the highest level (if that). If I have the mike about a cm or two away from
my mouth, the level virtually doesn't move at all. Just slightly better if
the mike sock is pressed right up against my lips.
Any other ideas would be welcomed.
Thanks,
Dave.

Hi all,
I've been using Netmeeting successfully for a number of years now without
the Audio being setup. The video works fine, but the person on the other
end of Netmeeting can hardly hear me.
I have beeen using a combination "Verbatim" stereo Headset/Microphone. I
can hear the other person fine, but, as I say, they can hardly hear me. I
thought that there might have been a problem with the Headset, so I
bought a "Skype Certified" mono Headset/Microphone made by a company
called "instoresolutions". This did not help the problem.
I then went to the "Control Panel", clicked on "Speech", then clicked on
"Configure Microphone". I tried this with both microphones & could only
just get my voice volume into the Green zone, 99% of the time it wouldn't
move out of the Yellow zone.
Do you think that I have a problem with both microphones, or could my
Sound Card be the problem?
Are there any other ideas anyone has as to why I'm having this problem?
If it is the Mike or Sound Card, can someone suggest a decent one to get
so that I can actually be heard in Netmeeting?
Please bear in mind that I live in Australia & would need brands
available here.
Thanks in advance,
Dave.
Did you try running the audio tuning wizard within Netmeeting? Click
