You're welcome. I kept my fingers crossed, I should have told you that
the command can have nasty side effect at times! You probably saw the
warning when you did it.

Boot to the Windows XP Recovery Console and issue the fixmbr command
to remove the linux boot loader.

I hope you can help me!
I was Dualbooting windows xp professional and xandros(linux) on a
seperate partition for a while because i wanted to try out linux..
Now i have decided to just use XP by itself again and merged the
partitions did all the cleanups ,defrags and diskchecks.
I also made sure the boot.ini is back to mormal by going into My
computer-Properties - advanced - settings - edit......
The BOOT.INI is back to the way it was before.
Everytime i boot up the computer it still offers me to do a Dual-Boot
and it uses a screen that was created by linux.
How do i get rid of the remainders of Linux (or Xandros)???
Thanks in advance !!!
