If you still get an error about autoexec.nt, then its probably missing, copy
autoexec.nt from c:\Windows\Repair to c:\Windows\System32 and it should work
again

Try running the installer in compatibility modus (right-click on the
installation file, and click on properties. Click on the Compatibility
tab, check compatibility, select Windows 98 or so)

I keep recieving the following message when trying to run some programmes,
C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/AUTOEXEC.NT.THE SYSTEM FILE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR
RUNNUNG
MS-DOS AND MICROSOFT WINDOWS APPLICATIONS.CHOOSE CLOSE TO TERMINATE THE
APPLICATION.
Could someone please shed some light on this problem.
