hey i previously had bout the windows xp pro but it was a copy that my friend
gave me a long time ago way before they had they wga software i went out a
bout a legit windows xp home edition i install the program but when i turn on
my computer it gives me a choice oh chosing betwene windows xp home & pro
witch means there is two windows install in my computer i have to hard drives
a C & D the D drive is very small the C is my primarly drive.
I want to know how to removed the old windows xp pro from my computer
also the windows xp home edition install in my D drive i want to move it to
the C drive? How?
At this point the best solution is to wipe out both the C: and D:
drives (format them) and then install Windows XP Home again, this time
on the C: drive. Make sure you back up your data files first.
Moving an installed copy of Windows to a different drive letter is
virtually impossible due to the vast number of registry entries,
shortcuts, etc. that have to be changed.
Good luck
