No, System Restore can not possibly help him. System Restore monitors the
operating system only, and does nothing for user data files. It is *not* a
substitute for data backup.

Folks,
Is there any way to undelete a file thats been removed from an NTFS
disk during a cut and paste to another disk?
I've just lost the disk I pasted it onto.
I've tried the usuals - winundelete and various others, but they only
seem to be able to recover files deleted with the "delete" command,
and not files that were cut and pasted in explorer.
