I have been working with a client trying to resolve an issue with his
ability to use Remote desktop to remote into his work PC
I have reached a point in my troubleshoting that really has me stumped.
The PC itself runs fine. Its on a Domain and LAN , having no problem
accessing the internet or any of the network resources.
I chacked his services and found the service for Terminal Services had no
Dependencies listed
Furtehr investigation revealed that every service had no Dependencies
listed.
These services show as being started, yet no errors are in the event
viewer.
The main services, event, RPC and net are all started, but again have no
dependencies listed
I am very certain that this is at least partially the reason behind him
being unable to use Remote desktop to remote this PC.
He is on Win XP Pro SP2
has anyone heard of this before?
.
