Hi Richard,
It came with drivers for a reason. Remove the USB Drive. Reboot. Install
the Drivers. Reboot and now plug the Drive into the USB Port.

It came with drivers which I did not install as I'm using XP pro
I tried it on a computer here at work running XP home, same issue

Hi Richard,
Did the USB Floppy Drive come with Drivers? Did you install the
drivers first or connect the Drive first?

I just purchased a USB Floppy drive, I am running XPpro. I plugged in the
drive, heard the sound of the computer seeing the usb device. Device
Manager
sees the device with no problems...
Yet it doesn't appear in My Computer as a drive
I've tried rebooting the computer, (which shouldn't be required) and
still
don't see the drive.
When I put in a floppy disk, the drive LED comes on, it has power...
It'll be tomorrow before I can try this drive on a different computer
