Hi Brian,

When you mention Desktop Computers and Desktops? Are we talking
different physical computers or are you referring to User IDS' Desktops
within a single computer? Is there software installed on the other
computers, which might allow changes, but keep its own history?

I am using Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2.

Question: You moved the Target for My Documents from one Network Drive
to another Network Drive. Do the User IDs' see the same location, when they
click on My Documents folder on their Desktop? Did you lock the changes
made, by rebooting the computers?

I ran the registry cleaner you recomended and rebooted the computer. There
was no change to the problem. The off-line icon is still there.

Windows Registry including the History found in the Windows Registry.

One more note: I also removed the $ share from the old folder location,
but
did not delete the folder. Right now the old redirect folder is not
shared
at
all.

old
redirect files. This is happening on all the desktops I checked so
far.

The $ share is the exact same share name as the old location. It is
just
on
another server.

Is there a way to go in and change the settings to get desktop
computers
running Windows XP Proffesional to stop looking at the old redirect
folder
loacation?
