Hi Ken;
I'm running WP X3. However, I've found out what the problem was.
Yes, I saw your messages in the WordPerfect X3 newsgroup.
Glad you solved it, and glad it didn't turn out to be WordPerfect (it would
have surprised me if it sis).

The
documents did get printed to my husband's printer (which I can't hear
from my location). Somehow (and don't ask how) his printer (on the
LAN) was selected on my machine as the default printer.
When the print dialogue box opened, it came up with Epson C80 (his)
and I changed it to Epson R320 (mine). But what I didn't notice was
that although the printer changed in the Name drop down printer
selection box, it did not change on the next line for "type". When I
changed the default printer to mine, it solved the problem. Weird.
Everything was fine yesterday, and I have no idea how the default
printer got changed. Guess I have some gremlins in my house (or
computer?).
Ah well, another learning experience.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I think I just found the problem - it's WordPerfect. When I open it
- the problems reappears instantly. I close it and it goes away.
Think I'll try doing a system restore, and if that doesn't work, I'm
off the Corel newsgroup. Will let you know if the system restore
works.
What version of WordPerfect? I'm running both 12 and X3 here (on
different machines) and I've run 11 and (I think) 10 under Windows
XP before that. I've never seen WordPerfect cause such a problem.

I just re-booted and it seems to have gone away. (Another one of
those frustrating and infuriating glitches). I'd still like to
know if anyone else has ever come across something like this?
Thanks
Lorraine

Can anyone tell me why my windows (all windows - program, IE6,
OE6 - everything) keep flashing from active to inactive? Even
while I'm typing this, the cursor disappears, and the frame
around the window grays out and nothing works. It's like a neon
light that flashes on and off. Has anyone heard of this before -
or have any help or ideas what might be causing it?
I'm using XP Pro SP2 with all current updates.
