I have a clean xp home install with me password protected administrator in
user accounts but when I boot, the login page is bypassed and it goes
straight to my desktop.............................. any ideas?
perhaps it is logging in using your USER account and not the administrator
account, you may have set a password from admin account during the instal
phase but remember at the end of the instal it asks you who will be using
this computer (or something similar) and you put your name in ... well it
will be using that name to log you in ... you will need to create a password
for that account in the users section of the control panel
.
