MSCONFIG - Startup Odd Characters

Hello,

When I look at the MSconfig utility I go over to the start up tab and see my
normal programs with the exception of a couple odd ones. They are checked
as HCKU but have squares and odd characters. So I unchecked the 2
questionable start-ups and get errors when I boot referring to the 2 start
up processes but that's it everything seems ok. I'm just wondering if
anyone has seen this before.
