Hi harleysftl13,
No one asks so I will, "What is your Drive D?"
If a CD, CD-RW or DVD Drive, go into Device Manager and do a Hardware
Scan. After your Drive is restored, use a CD Cleaner on it and clean it.
Windows XP, will remove a Drive like these, if a lot of errors occur. Also
clean your CD Disk in question with a cleaner.

everything is connected right as far as I can tell. I do play alot of EQ2
and
sometimes my screen would turn all funny colors and I could not see
anything,
I thought it was my Video card so I would just reset the computer and shut
it
down for an hour or two, then I would play again and everything would be
fine. It did it right before the D drive disapeared. I looked on the log
files and it said there that the D drive was removed. Now I dont know what
to
do. It looks like when I reset my cpu the drive was removed for some
reason,
anyone have any other idea? Thanks for your reply to this post

sometimes the cables get loose. check the connectors against your hd and
