When I access the internet, I can't seem to send, only receive...

Every time i access the internet, it works fine as long as i don't try
to interact with it too deeply (like logging on to something etc.).
When I do, the page fails to load and I get an error message (the
standard one).

I had the problem before and solved it by re-installing XP, but now it
is back and I'm not sure what is causing it. My virus software checks
out and the spyware filters are on.

I ran a hardware test and that is fine too.

Anybody out there had a similar experience and solved it?

Tx.
