My daughter's computer has suddenly decided to open outlook express
and try to connect to the net at random times, one problem though,
she dosn't have and never had the internet. I know that because of
this there's no virus but something is causeing it to open, How can
outlook express be shutdown to stop this happening also any ideas
as to way it's doing this. Thank you.
You know there is no virus because it has never had access to the
Internet?
That's not the only way to get a virus.
CDs, thumb drives, USB hard drives, floppy diskettes, Zip disks and
any
external media that comes in contact with the computer what-so-ever.
Check the settings in Outlook Express - make sure it has no account
settings - as you don't need them obviously.

Thanks, i'll get here to check settings. I don't think there is any
viruses as anything that goes in her computer goes in mine first and I
have panda platinum 2006 which I get to scan anything that go'es in
first.
