You're apparently using Help & Support module, and then using the Search function. I just tried it on my system, and I'm not seeing the login frame. I "can" navigate the KB search results.
I did notice a slight difference this morning at the support.microsoft.com web page (about advanced search having moved (?) but it's likely only the placement of search link).
But that's not your problem issue.
Perhaps it has to do with the presence or lack of it, of a cookie from ms support site ?
Attached is a snapshot from my H & S. I notice yours shows more results then mine when searching on "content extension"?
