Re: re-imaging
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
The term 'imaging' means to make an exact copy of a hard disk (or a
partition). If you "wipe it clean first" there is nothing to take an image
of.
Could you be meaning to say that you want to erase your hard disk and
reinstall the software that was on your system when it left the factory? To
do this, use the recovery CD(s) or the recovery partition that came with
your computer. The computer's manufacturer has complete instructions on how
to do this. The procedure varies somewhat from manufacturer to manufacturer.
