I'm hoping somebody can help me out. My laptop running Windows XP Home
was working great up until now. I went to turn it on and see the
Windows XP logo come up like everything is loading. Then it quickly
flashes to a blue screen (doesn't stay up long enough to see what it
said) and then goes back and reboots. The same thing happens again,
over and over on a loop.
I wanted to see what the blue screen said, and tried to take a picture
with my camera. Here's what it said:
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent
(can't make it out) to your computer.
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart
your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software
manufacturer
for any windows updates you might need.
If problem continues, disable or remove any newly installed hardware."
I haven't installed anything new. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Jason
