I re-installed WinXp this morning and while downloading SP1 (I think) a
popup window entitled "Messenger service" appeared. It warned me that my
registry was corrupted adn that I should go to a website "upgrade32.com"
and download some registry cleaner.

I didnt believe it so I downloaded nothing.

What troubles me is that:

Windows Update may have been hijacked, or
That I may really have a problem.

What do you think?
