Assuming hd is identified in the bios, identified in Disk Management, and
Maxtor Power Max suggests hd is fine,and you still cannot Format.
Then try www.bootdisk.com/dostools create a Fdisk floppy see if this can be
used, ensure you identify the correct hd!
