Another try - Windows Based Scripting Host

I posted this query last week, but didn't get any replies, I'd appreciate
advice. TIA
For the last few days Zone Alarm has alerted me that Windows Based Scripting
Host has been trying to access the internet. At first I thought it was
Outlook Express that was invoking it, but now it seems to happen several
times an hour when I'm online, thought not actively surfing or using OE.
I've been denying access, but not permanently, as I'm not sure if it's
malicious code or a data miner, or needed by Windows for an important
function. Any advice will be appreciated.
