In IE, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Multimedia section and make sure the box “Show Pictures” is ticked.
Clear the IE cache from IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete files and Delete offline content.

Hi. I'm new here and am at my wits end. I have 2 problems going on right
now and have no clue if they are related. I purchased and downloaded 2006
Norton antivirus on Monday and every time I try to install it, it fails.
When I run the pre install scan, this is what it tells me:
------- Preinstall Scan Results -------
Unable to ensure access: MACHINE\Software\Symantec\Common Client
Access rights scan summary:
11 folders scanned.
11 registry entries scanned.
Summary:
Number of Infections Found: 0
Number of Files Repaired: 0
Number of Files Quarantined: 0
Can anyone help me figure out what I need to do to make this work?
Second, I suddenly am unable to view images from certain websites such as a
ticker, my counter on ebay auctions, and some emails--instead I get the
dreaded x. I have searched online and performed all of the functions that I
have found and nothing has worked. Can anyone help me with this? Are these
2 issues related? Thanks in advance for ANY help you can provide!
Kim
