What download to delete temp.internet cache?
To delete *all* of your Temporary Internet Files...
1) Start | Run | Type: inetcpl.cpl | Click OK
Or right click the Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop
Or Start | Settings | Control Panel | Internet Options
Best to do this with all instances of Internet Explorer closed. Especially
if there are a large number of files. Also close OE.
2) On the General Tab, in the middle of the screen, click on Delete Files
3) Check the box: Delete all offline content {This cleans >>
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
AND
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
and \Content.MSO (Created by an MS Office program)}
4) Click on OK and wait for the hourglass icon to stop after it deletes the
temporary internet files
5) You can now click on Delete Cookies and click OK to delete cookies that
websites have placed on your hard drive.
6) You can also click on the Clear History button to empty your History
folder.
If you want, try this: Open IE | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab |
scroll down to the bottom | check: Empty Temporary Internet Files folder
when browser is closed | Click Apply | Click OK. Entirely up to you, but if
you
want to be rid of this, it is done automatically. Deletes the content of
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files but not the Content.IE5 or Content.MSO folders.
Also: Start IE | Tools | Internet Options | General tab | Days to keep
pages in history: 0 | Apply | OK.

I do not know if this will help, but it sure can't hurt.
Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.
Update whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.

Let's try unregistering and then registering printui.dll.
Start | Run | Paste the following line in the box:
regsvr32 /u printui.dll
Hit your Enter key.
You should see a message telling if it unregistered or not.
Start | Run | Paste this in the box:
regsvr32 printui.dll
You should see a message telling if it registered or not.
If you didn't get any error messages, try your Hp Photo printing deal
again.
If you did get any error messages trying to unregister and register
printui.dll, try this.
Sfc.exe, System File Checker repairs/replaces screwed up system files.
Load your XP CD in your CD drive.
Start | Run | Type or paste: sfc /scannow | Click OK
If you have XP Home and it asks for your XP Pro CD, see this KB
article...
You may be prompted to insert a Windows XP Professional CD when you run
the System File Checker tool in Windows XP Home Edition

Hi,
This line, "0 KB in bad sectors", that was in the log, means that
your drive is okie dokie. Your log looked fine and you do not have
to do anything, chkdsk already did it.
If you want to read about things like indexes and security
descriptors and stuff like that go here.
Understanding what CHKDSK does
Or you can just keep having fun and not read that at all, it isn't
anything that you have to know.
As far as your original post, printui.dll provides functionality to
install a printer via the command line.
Are you still getting windows explorer closing with an error when you
access printers from control panel?

Can you post yours, so that we can look at it?
Here's how to copy it so you can paste it into a message.
Open the Event Viewer...
Start | Run | Type: eventvwr | Click OK |
Look in Application | Listed as Information |
Look for Event ID: 1001 and Source: Winlogon |
Double click that event | Another window will open |
Click the button below the second arrow (it looks like two pages).
Clicking the two pages looking button copies the details of the
event to the Clipboard.
Then paste what you just copied to the clipboard into a message and
post back here.
