I am an employee of Jiwire.com . It sounds like some of your computer
files have become corrupt. You will need your MS Windows cd or the
backup disks in order to fix this. Insert the disk into your CD-ROM
drive and close any window that pops up. Click on the Start menu>Run>
and in the blank field type in

sfc /scannow

This will scan for corrupt windows files on your computer and replace
them with original files from your disk. You may also try reinstalling
your network card drivers, you can find the correct ones for your
motherboard on the Dell Support website. You can find a link to their
website below.

networks is wacky.
Sometimes it says "Automatic", sometimes is says "Manual", and
sometimes it says "On Demand"! When the network is working, the
networks screen says "Not Connected"! It never stays on "Automatic".
Also, in the properties page for my wireless network, my WEP
seems to randomly disappear and switch to "The key is provided for me
automatically".
I'm not sure what is going on. Does anyone have any ideas what this
Spotlock program could have done to my machine?
