NoClose removes access to Stand By, Hibernate, Turn Off, Restart and Log
Off (User Name) from the Shut Down menu in Task Manager, but leaves the
menu.
If XP Pro use Group Policy...

Until recently, I had a shutdown menu item between the View and Help Menu
items. I do not know when it disapeared but it had to be while I was
trying to get the ATI Vidio card Multimedia Console working. (Still
refuses to Install). Anyway when the computer refused to respond, I
clicked on the Tray Icon to bring up task Manager to click on the
Shutdown Menu and it was no longer there. What happened?
