XP Home Repair Installation freezes.
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
I tried to do a Repair Installation after an XP Update caused the computer
not to boot. It would also fail in Safe Mode.
During the repair installation it freezes with 39 minutes remaining. I tried
many times from and it freezes at the same point just after the first
restart. No error messages at all. All cards have been removed except for
the pci-e video card.
The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 Ultra.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Ron
