Re: dvd playback problem

Note :When I put a cd in it just spins and no autorun and freezes. a restore
failed that I tried to do after installing the media player hotfix etc.

I tried the check-up utility and it said that nvidia was compatable but it
didnt work to play the movie in mp 10 . Power dvd 4 was not. Power dvd 6
trial played fine except it was buggy with the reverse control.

Then after I installed the drm and hotfix I had big trouble with my dvd
rom drive locking up on every disk with autrun errors and sonic dla. I
need to fix this. Help .And no change with media player!!

Before I updated mylite on firmware but I did not reinstall sonic DLA
record now etc It was retdetected by windows and still read dvd rs etc.

Now it locks up can you recomend a fix . ie reinstall sonic remove nvidia
pure video etc.

If so, did you connect the 4-pin molex power connector to the card..?

The DRM needs to be installed before the hotfix is installed..

Remember since SP2 and MP10 are major upgrades to XP, you may need to
update
or even upgrade older third party software to keep in step..
