iexplore.exe is driving me nuts

Hello all,

Unfortunately, I've had a few problems lately. Even had to do a re-format
install. I got things running good, but now when I ask for Internet
Explorer, it takes forever to load my home page.

I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with 512 of RAM. It used to load IE in a
heartbeat. I've tried everything. There are no viruses, no ad-ware, no
spies that I can find. I've had Task Manager open to see what is taking up
all the CPU, and it is 'iexplore.exe'.

What could be causing this?

I appreciate any forthcoming help.

Danno
